位于麻坡的“柔佛子民”壁画是全马第一个在政府大厦绘制的壁画。这副壁画里总共描绘了4个民族，分别是华人，马来人，印度人，和锡克人的同框自拍。也寓意着麻坡甚至是全马的多元种族团结景象。这幅画的画家来自英国的汤姆斯保维尔，他也是“大马准女婿”。这位画家的未婚妻是槟城人，而他的岳母则是道道地地的麻坡人。
The "Johor Citizens" mural in Muar is the first mural painted in a government building in Malaysia. This mural depicts a total of 4 ethnic groups, namely Chinese, Malays, Indians, and Sikhs. It also symbolizes the multi-racial unity of Muar and even the whole of Malaysia. The painter of this painting is from the United Kingdom, Thomas Powell, who is also a "Malaysian prospective son-in-law". The painter's fiancee is from Penang, while his mother-in-law is from Muar.

THE CHINESE OPERA | YANG FAMILY FEMALE GENERAL
麻坡广肇会馆为了配合110周年庆，特别邀请来自台湾画家黄仲纬绘制这副“杨门女将”粤语造型的壁画，不仅跟上了壁画潮流而且还宣传了粤剧文化。
In order to tie in with the 110th anniversary, the Muar Canton Association specially invited Taiwanese painter Huang Zhong Wei to paint this “Yang Family Female General” mural in Cantonese, which not only kept up with the trend of murals, but also promoted Cantonese opera culture.

这间庙是建于1939年至今已有82年的历史。这间庙是由拿督许天平所创办的。这间庙位于麻坡巴力温那渔村里。前面供奉着观音佛祖，善才爷公及众佛金身塑像，后座则供奉着一尊高约二十余尺的释迦牟尼佛金身塑像。
This temple was built in 1939 and has a history of 82 years. This temple was founded by Dato' Koh Thian Peng. This temple is located in the fishing village of Parit Unas. The front is enshrined with the statues of Guanyin Buddha, the good man and all the Buddhas, and the back seat is enshrined with a golden statue of San Chai Buddha about twenty feet high.

这间庙建立于1913年之前，至今已有超过100年的历史。这间庙的主神是千手观音。其他还有包括：玉皇大帝，注生娘娘，善才爷等多位大神。他们也有提供许多服务，像是点灯，解签，补运，问事等等。
The temple was built before 1913 and has a history of more than 100 years. The main deity of this temple is the Thousand-handed Guanyin. Others include: Jade Emperor, Empress Zhusheng, Master Shancai and many other great gods. They also provide many services, such as lighting, canceling ties, fortune make-up, inquiries and so on.
